Do you need to rush because of the 66 days?
No real-time survival deadline is established for your first run. The director places the limited-death challenge in New Game Plus. Treat the story premise and that optional mode as separate things.[1]
What should you learn first?
The sequence below is our practice recommendation, not a claim about a hidden tutorial or guaranteed victory. Finish one learning task at a time instead of changing your entire setup after every defeat.
- Pick a comfortable difficulty and locate the controls/tutorial reminders.
- Against a manageable enemy, watch the opening movement before attempting a full combo.
- Practice blue-attack defense and red-attack evasion as different decisions.
- Monitor your Sha-Chi and learn when a weapon switch is available.
- Try weapon moves before committing upgrade materials.
- After a main objective, review unfinished side content and blocked paths.
Why not just hold guard and attack?
A9VG reports that guarding uses Sha-Chi and an empty meter breaks your guard. Its review also describes a cooldown on weapon switching. Our advice is to notice the resource problem before assuming every defeat needs more damage.[2]
What comes after the basics?
Use the combat page for cue recognition, the upgrade page for equipment decisions, and the exploration page for revisiting obstacles. Use the controls page for its evidence limits; a complete retail binding chart is not available here.
